Profa. Dra. Maria Elice Brzezinski Prestes

Realiza pesquisas na área de História da Biologia, particularmente sobre as investigações experimentais com seres vivos no século XVIII. Promove estudos sobre a utilização de diferentes episódios da História da Biologia no ensino de Ciências e Biologia, na educação básica e superior, com abordagem de ensino por investigação e promoção explícita e reflexiva de concepções informadas sobre a natureza da ciência.
Maria Elice Brzezinski Prestes conducts research in History of Biology, particularly on experimental investigations with living beings in the Eighteenth Century. She also promotes studies on the use of different episodes of the History of Biology in the teaching of science and biology in basic and higher education, based on inquiry teaching and on explicit and reflective approach to the nature of science.
