Pedro Reali Conference site and lodging Participants coming from abroad - All international flights must be booked with Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), São Paulo, as the final destination. Shuttle buses to Ilhabela will be provided free of charge. Detailed shuttle schedule will be available in due time. Participants traveling from other parts of Brazil - People boarding domestic flights should try to book their flights to Guarulhos. If that is not possible, participants should take the shuttle or a cab from Congonhas airport to Guarulhos (Airport Bus Service) or from Campinas to Guarulhos if the flight so happens to arrive at Viracopos airport. From Guarulhos, participants will be taken by bus to Ilhabela. Ground transportation expenses will be reimbursed. *Participants arriving from other cities in São Paulo -* People coming by bus must take the shuttle from either Tietê or Barra Funda bus stations to Guarulhos in order to be picked up by the shuttle service to Ilhabela. People arriving by car must make parking arrangements. Parking fees will NOT be reimbursed. Visa Brazil enforces the "international principle of reciprocity". If your country requires a visitor's visa from Brazilian citizens (e.g. USA, Japan, Canada, Mexico), it is likely that you will also need to apply for a Temporary (not Business) Visa to visit Brazil. Make sure to check with your local Brazilian consulate or embassy as soon as possible in order to guarantee that, if needed, the visa will be issued in a timely fashion. Official invitation letters will be provided for those participants that need to apply for a Visa. Visa expenses will NOT be reimbursed. If you have a VISA or Mastercard debit card you should be able to withdraw money from local ATMs. Check with your bank or credit card company to make sure this service is available to you. It is advisable to bring cash for expenses not covered by the program, such as alcoholic beverages, personal use items, souvenirs, unscheduled activities, etc. There are several exchange offices at the airport, but not in Ilhabela, so do make sure to change all your money before boarding the shuttle.
